    After the Drugs R Us sketch, Andy Kaufman is supposed to introduce The Pretenders, but instead, he made a speech about the side effects of drug abuse until he realized he talked too long and had to go to the commercial. Kaufman will finally introduce the band prior to "Message of Love".

    * During the sketch where William Shatner plays a man who violently reacted to minor pain, one of the scenes in which the man's date (played by Brandis Kemp) crushed his toes during the dance that cause the man to throw his date on the ground. On the live broadcast, Kemp's skirt flew up causing her bare bottom or thong bottom to be exposed. In all re-airs a different camera angle was used to censor the upskirt angle.  However, The original footage doesn't appear to be online to confirm this!
